yet another dot

when the world is finished
where will you be banished?
neither you nor me will remain
nothing, not even pain

i look up and the sky is still blue
until when can i see this view
to see the sun, rise and set
without another risk or threat

my humanity limits my capability
yet it can create such hostility
to be engrossed in life's trifles
won't come so far until it stifles

this confusion that it has wrought
trampled on the ideals that i sought
bring out your sword my God
strike them until they run out of blood
