hush now for your silence defines me
speak gently for your voice lets me be
run madly as your persistence is the key
walk slow with grace as you go free

encumber me with your restless heart
engulf me with thoughts as you depart
leave me with whatever you can impart
for as of this moment i know not where to start

such anger can never be contained
nor even the wisest have never explained
why my whole being you have disdained
all strength gained have been drained

shackled and chained for so many days
grieving in such mysteriously sublime ways
all these have left me in a surreal daze
then i remind myself that this is just a phase
