incandescent silence

like the dark of night that surrounds
everything in it is deficient of sounds
i am embraced by the uneasiness
glaring yet, silent call of distress

i go on daily collecting all the debris
not a word, nor a sound of an arrogant plea
i shall refrain from any action
lest i will become another form of distraction

look at me from a distance
you will see that i require no assistance
come closer and you will see
that i am crushed and down to my knee

no one can help me but The One and Only
for He promised to answer His children's plea
even if i suffer in this silence that's incandescent
until He comes, these knees shall remain bent
